Suwanee Taste of BBQ and Music Festival Recap 2024 (Video)

Suwanee, GA – The Suwanee Taste of BBQ and Music Festival took place this past weekend in the Suwanee Town Center Park from 10am – 6pm (EST). The event is a fundraiser for Project Green, which currently aspires to partner with summer camps, offering eco-friendly snacks and even sponsorships for children.

The event offered a chance to sample mouthwatering BBQ from local vendors and cast a vote for best BBQ in town. The sampling tickets ranged from $1 – $4 and vendors with the most tickets would then be donned the winner. In addition, vendors also sold full plates throughout their time at the event.

Admission to the event was free alongside parking. There was not much in the way of traffic by the time we arrived, so moving through the event was very comfortable. Tequila Mama, a permanent resident of Suwanee Town Center displayed its creativity by offering festival attendees refreshments right outside of its doors and it appeared to work – not only was there a line out front for drinks, but the patio was also lined with guests.

There was plenty of entertainment on display at the Suwanee Taste of BBQ and Music Festival in 2024. Attendees plopped down on the lawn at the amphitheater to catch some musical tunes by featured artists. Children had the greatest draw of attractions with a full lineup of bouncy houses. But, the main attraction was the choo choo train that took us on a 5 minute ride around the park.

In all, the Suwanee Taste of BBQ and Music Festival is a must-attend family friendly event in the Atlanta region. If BBQ (and soul food) is your thing, then you’ll have plenty of good choices to choose from. Your children will be happy that you attended and so will you.
