“What are some things you enjoy while filming with the cast on set?” the actor was asked.
Deshawn Bowens’ response highlighted the warm and welcoming atmosphere: “..Everyone was so like just kind. And honestly, some of my favorite times were for when we went on breaks to eat because I love to eat, we all got to actually like sit down and talk to each other. And I’m like, why is everyone so… this is crazy how kind. And I got a chance like we would take the little shuttle bus together. And so I was like wow, this is really cool. We actually are, the vibes were so immaculate. So a lot of the times, obviously, filming the film was fun, but a lot of times off-camera, like the crew, everyone was just willing to just play around and just be so open and cool. And so a lot of those times were my favorite times while filming. Nice.”
The actor’s description paints a picture of a truly enjoyable and collaborative filming experience. The emphasis on kindness, camaraderie, and a positive atmosphere suggests that the spirit of the holiday season extended beyond the screen and into the daily interactions of the cast and crew.
This behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of “Too Many Christmases” offers a heartwarming reminder that even in the fast-paced world of filmmaking, kindness and genuine connection can truly make a difference.
