The American Black Film Festival (ABFF) is set to return for its 29th year, continuing its legacy as a premier event celebrating Black artists and storytelling. Dedicated to showcasing global film and television content created by and about people of African descent, the festival will take place June 11-15, 2025, in Miami Beach.
Known for bringing together filmmakers, industry executives, and fans of Black culture, ABFF offers a dynamic lineup of screenings, panel discussions, exclusive events, and networking opportunities. The festival serves as a key platform for emerging and established talent in the entertainment industry.
Submissions are now open for narrative features, documentaries, series, and short films. Filmmakers looking to participate can submit their work by the early deadline on November 15 or the final deadline on February 28.
