African Film Festival Atlanta Announces Open Call for Submissions
By Our Arts & Culture Desk |
The African Film Festival Atlanta (AFFATL), powered by the African Film & Arts Foundation Inc., is excited to announce that its regular call for submissions for the 5th annual festival is officially open. Filmmakers are encouraged to submit their work to be a part of this prestigious event, which celebrates African and African diaspora cinema.
A Look Back: 2024 Festival Postponement
In November 2024, the African Film & Arts Foundation Inc. (AFAF) announced a change to the calendar for its much-anticipated in-person festival. Due to circumstances beyond their control, the African Film Festival Atlanta was postponed to March 13th–17th, 2025.
This postponement allowed the organization to ensure the festival returned bigger, better, and more inspiring than ever, providing an unforgettable experience for filmmakers and audiences alike. All film selections remained as planned, and submitted films did not need to be resubmitted for the March screenings.
Showcase Your Vision: How to Submit for 2026
