Halloween season is officially upon us, and Atlanta’s haunted attractions are gearing up. This is a critical opportunity for local creatives to secure work for the entire final week of October. The Slaughter Haunted House is hosting a mandatory, in-person casting call and resource session TOMORROW to fill all key creative and technical roles.

The Guide to Available Roles

This haunted house needs a wide range of talent—a great resource for both performers and behind-the-scenes professionals:

• Actors: Seekers are looking for performers with some experience in theatre, improv, or character work to bring the terror to life.
• Makeup Artists (FX): A major need for professionals specializing in Special Effects (FX) Makeup to create the terrifying looks required for the house.
• Production Staff & Special Effects: Opportunities exist across the technical side of the production, including Set Building/Construction, Props/Decoration, Sound/Lighting, and Stage Management.

Casting Logistics and Mandatory Requirements

If you are interested in any of these roles, you must attend the casting call tomorrow. Note the non-negotiable requirements:

• Date: Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 30th
• Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Contract Details:

The job runs for the final stretch of the spooky season, requiring daily availability from October 21st through October 31st.

NOTE: All applicants must be 21+ and have no criminal background to be considered for any role.
